A
retired Detroit fireman, Peltier was an avid carpenter and woodworker
who spent his spare time building boats, carving decoys, hunting,
fishing and generally living the life of an outdoor sportsman.
He
resided in Harrison Township outside Mount
Clemens, Michigan
and carved many fine examples of duck and fish
decoys
which are collectible for both their distinctive style and
Peltier's keen observation of the natural world. |
